The very best of L.A. & Orange County

It’s that time of year again – the time when the mad dash begins to buy everyone in your life that perfect gift to help create the perfect holiday season. Whether you are looking for something for your work wife, your sister, your mother-in-law, a hostess gift, or that hair stylist who helps you stay fly year-round, we can guarantee you’ll find it on 17th Street in Costa Mesa. This little street manages to wear down the strips on our credit cards all year long (“No, the strip is dead, can you just key it in please?”), but now it’s that time of year when that’s acceptable and no one questions your spending habits!

To help make things a little easier for you, we’ve narrowed it down so you can hit 17th armed with a game plan and a gift list you’ll be sure to knock out in no time at all.

OPT by No Rest for Bridget

OPT takes everything we love about No Rest for Bridget (modern clothes with on-trend, easy looks) and adds a fantastic mix of home goods that match the great style of their clothing. OPT takes you through your day with great athletic (or athleisure…) wear to rock to your spin class at Grit Cycle, outfits from desk till dusk, and fabulous candles and decor to wind down with when you finally make your way home.

Doll Boutique

Doll Boutique is, hands down, one of our favorite spots on 17th. It’s pretty much a guarantee that if we decide to stop at neighboring Sidecar for a nitro-iced coffee and gluten-free donut, we’ll be stopping at Doll too. With a wide range of prices, you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list, from mom’s gift to the obligatory gift for the nosy lady in the office. We especially love their adorable makeup bags with dogs and cats, and their ultra comfy Wildfox sweaters. From housewares to a children and baby section, to a wide array of clothing and accessories, you’re covered (except for the guys, sorry!).
